Celebrating Our Students’ Success in the Immerse Education Essay Competition

We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our students who took part in the prestigious Immerse Education Essay Competition - an international contest that encourages young people to showcase their academic curiosity, writing excellence, and depth of thought.

Round 1 of this year's competition attracted entries from over 5,000 schools across 150 countries, making it one of the largest and most respected global essay competitions for secondary students. Against this impressive field, several of our students achieved recognition for their outstanding efforts.

About the Immerse Education Essay Competition

The Immerse Education Essay Competition is highly selective, attracting thousands of entries each year from students worldwide. Participants are recognised across four main academic tiers:

  • Scholar's Laureate: Awarded to students whose essays demonstrate exceptional originality, critical insight, and academic sophistication — within the top 1–2% of submissions.
  • Academic Distinction: Granted to essays showing strong analytical thinking, clarity of expression, and deep engagement with the topic, placing within the top 10% of entries.
  • Honours List: Recognises students whose essays show solid academic engagement, clear reasoning, and thoughtful understanding of the topic, placing within the top 40% of submissions.
  • Certified Entrant: Acknowledges students who meet the competition’s academic standards and submit work reflecting thoughtful research and intellectual curiosity.

This tiered structure allows a wide range of talented students to be recognised for their depth of thinking, writing skill, and academic potential.
