The Future of Education: A Conversation with Sugata Mitra

DSB International School was privileged to welcome Sugata Mitra, a world-renowned educationist, TED Prize winner, and leading voice in the future of learning.

During his visit, Dr Mitra delivered an inspiring session on The Future of Learning, encouraging both students and educators to reflect on the evolving role of curiosity, independence, and technology in education. Drawing on his pioneering research, he emphasised the importance of self-organised learning environments and the power of student-led inquiry in shaping meaningful learning experiences.

A highlight of the visit was the opportunity for our students to interact directly with Dr Mitra. Through a dynamic question-and-answer session, students explored ideas around digital learning, problem-solving, and how education can better prepare them for an uncertain and rapidly changing world.
