UK Government Education Trade Mission Visit to DSB International School, Mumbai

While in Mumbai, the delegation’s visit to DSB International School – Deutsche Schule Bombay highlighted the strength of partnership and shared ambition across the COBIS community of quality-assured international schools. DSB International School is one of a growing number of schools in India that are part of the COBIS quality-assured (QA) network.

DSB is the first school in India to complete the rigorous COBIS Accreditation and Compliance QA scheme, an important milestone and a significant achievement for everyone connected to the school. DSB is also globally recognised as both a COBIS Beacon School and a COBIS Training School.

Under the expert leadership of Howard Gee, DSB continues to play an important role in supporting school improvement and professional learning across India and the wider COBIS family of schools. During the visit, the delegation chaired a panel discussion with experts in educational leadership, delivery, and research. The group also experienced the warmth of the welcome from DSB students, and the wider school community.

The visit was also a chance to thank the UK Government’s Education Trade Mission and the COBIS delegation for their warm visit and engaging panel discussion on educational leadership and innovation.
